#247. What Value Can I Provide?

We normally pay money for products or services in a market as an equivalent value.

Book, iPhone, Hair cut, Disney Land and so on..

Although there are various forms of products and services, something in common is that we get “the value of each thing”.

On the other hand, we need to provide some values when we get money as a salary.

Business person are required to contribute to an increase in his company’s sales profit. Sport player need to contribute to a victory against a match..

I often have opportunities to do an assignment in a group which normally consists of 4-5 peoples. They can speak English fluently. To be honest, I feel melancholy in such a situation.

The reason is that it”s hard to find the value I can provide to the group..

I want to lead the team to a success. This is an ideal situation.

However, it’s more difficult to implement than I expected because of the barrier of language.

At that moment, a thing comes to my mind.

“What value can I provide?”

We have a duty to contribute to the organisation we belong to when we are given salary from them. It applies to business person, athlete and part-timer. We can get salary because we provide some values to them.

Although we cannot get salary in the group work in school, I feel I need to apologise to group members for not providing my value at all. There is no value in my existence in the team.

Therefore, I try to do something such as editing report and submitting it spontaneously, even though they are very easy for everyone..As my apologise.

I’m planning to have an internship and work for a company for three months as a trainee. This is my first work experience abroad. To make it work better, I have to find out what I should do and improve clearly and break down them in daily basis.

“What Value Can I Provide?”

I try to think about it on zero-based foundation.
